About Us

  Library on Wheels is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization seeking to establish mobile libraries in remote communities and urban neighborhoods with limited access to libraries and books. These mobiles libraries are set up through vans that carry hundreds of books to places in need. We are seeking to partner with established social organizations to accelerate our program. We have currently partnered with One Billion Literate Foundation (OBLF) to initiate our activities in Bengaluru, India. 

1. Provide mobile libraries that reach remote villages and underserved urban neighborhoods

2. Foster a love of reading and learning in children and adults alike

3. Bridge the gap in access to books and educational resources

4. Empower communities to seek knowledge, improve literacy, and enhance their quality of life

5. Create a culture of community engagement, inclusivity, and social connection
