Mahilan is currently a freshman at the University of Pennsylvania.  He is currently the team leader of the organization and is working to initiate the program in Bengaluru, India. So far, he has collaborated with field volunteers from One Billion Literate Foundation (OBLF), an organization that provides quality education to children in rural Bengaluru, to survey multiple villages and identify those most in need to kickstart the initiative. 

Deyaan is currently a senior at Brandeis University. He conceptualized Library On Wheels alongside Mahilan in 2020, right before the COVID-19 pandemic. More recently, he has been working with Mahilan to raise funds and catalogue books to send to India in order to help grow the initiative.
